It all begins with an idea.
Meet Kat: The Chaos Behind The Collective
Hey, I’m Kat — artist, creative whirlwind, and founder of The LML Collective, where secondhand style and unapologetic self-expression come to play. I’m also a brand-new mom to my little muse, Lincoln Martin, whose initials inspired the name LML — Love My Life. It’s more than a cute acronym; it’s my mantra, my mission, and the heartbeat of everything I’m building.
Born and raised in New York City, I grew up in a creative household run by two visionary parents who owned a multimedia agency for the cosmetic and fashion industries. My playground was full of mood boards, Pantone swatches, and branding meetings — a crash course in design, storytelling, and the power of aesthetic rebellion. That early exposure shaped everything I am today: bold, curious, and obsessed with turning chaos into beauty.
Before The LML Collective, I lived a few creative lives — makeup artist, craft cocktail bartender, restaurant manager, graphic designer, licensed mortgage broker — and every single one taught me something about people, passion, and presentation. Whether I was mixing a perfect martini or helping someone find the perfect shade of red lipstick, I learned how to connect, create, and make others feel seen. That’s the real art behind this brand.
And now, after years of dreaming, sketching, and scheming, it’s happening. The LML Collective is coming to life in Sarasota, Florida — a retail wonderland that blends pre-loved fashion, handmade goods, upcycled décor, and local art into one immersive, art-forward experience. It’s part boutique, part creative playground, part chaos (the good kind).
This isn’t just a store. It’s a movement — a place where individuality, sustainability, and creativity all crash together in one bold, beautiful mess. Whether you’re shopping, consigning, or just vibing with us, The LML Collective is for anyone who’s ever wanted to live their life — and their style — out loud.
